Mission: Those who are left behind
Location: Xavier family quarters
Timeline: After late night chat

Sky had stirred to the sound of one of her babies waking for the usual nightly feed, it wouldn’t be long before the other was awake as well, laying her hand across the bed where Xavier should have been she found the bed cold, and Xavier gone. Tal was sleeping like a rock, so she slipped out of bed to go about her usual routine, getting herself a late night hot milk to help her relax as well.

“Computer, lights, low” As the room illuminated on the lowest setting she sat to feed her growing child and waited for Xavier to return.

~ A little while later ~

Xavier walked in, the day was done, the teams were back. Start of the data search would start in the morning. Walking over he smiled at Sky tending to the twins. "Cant sleep?"

Sky shook her head. “These two decided it was meal time” she looked over at the now dosing pair of babies. “Plus the bed was cold and you were gone. Is everything okay?”

"As ok as they can be right now. Away teams are back, and we leave the system in the morning."

Sky nodded. “There's more to that explanation than you’re saying from a personal standpoint, but I’ll let it rest for now.” She offered an understanding smile. “I paid a visit to the nursery earlier today, satisfied myself that our children will beg okay there while I’m working. It’s odd I’ve been wanting to get back o my duties, but now that time is coming I feel more… unsettled about being apart from them.”

"Its a normal thing, but it would be good for you and them for some time apart.

“That’s true” Sky nodded. “I’ve felt… cut off I guess, whilst I’ve been here during my maternity leave. I want to get back into the swing of things again.”

"You will. How about we finish this mission and we can talk about you taking patients again."

Sky nodded. “Sounds good to me, I still need to work out a regime anyway. Motherhood is a whole new challenge.”

Smiling, "Its different than my first go around as well... they don't change in a matter of weeks, they don't grow into adult hood in 18 months"

Shaking her head. “No they don’t, it’s a learning curve for both of us and I’m relishing the challenge now I know what I'm doing. Just don’t let us become your weak point, I’d never forgive myself if anything happened to you because of us.”

"You are my strength, never forget that. The four of you." He reached over, bringing her on top of him. "I promise, when I get this shit figured out. I will tell you everything."

“I know” Sky nodded as she looked into his eyes. Shifting a little it didn’t take long for her to set him free and to lower herself onto him, she knew just how to give him the pleasure that would take his mind off any bad thoughts.

"You know my weakness." Xavier replied as he kissed her.

“That I do” Sky smiled before returning his kiss. “Now that I can make love with you again, I intend to enjoy it.”

"Anytime you want, I am always yours."

“I know” Sky smiled as she made the most of having Xavier to herself, not that she minded having Talsi joining in, they were after all a trio. Her movements were purposeful to give both herself and Xavier all the pleasure they could enjoy.

Xavier ran his hands up her side then gently bringing his three fingered hand down one side and his full fingered down the other.

Sky kept going for as long as she could giving her husband all the love and attention she could lavish upon him, reaching her climax she made sure to keep her voice down so as not to wake their sleeping children. Something that made her giggle. “I never thought…I’d ever have to restrain my enthusiasm!"

Soon he followed with his own, "Then don't restrain."

“I’d wake the whole household!” Sky grinned as she sat for a moment before moving off and putting her underwear back on just incase the twins awoke.

"And I will put them back down."

Sky grinned as she looked at Xavier. “Then what are you waiting for? We have lost time to make up for!”

Xavier paused before bring her down on her back. "That we do."
